About Us

PRSA Boston

The Boston Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America brings together a diverse group of talented professionals committed to enhancing the practice of PR through our work, service and leadership across the region. More than 350 members strong and growing, the Chapter comprises practitioners at all levels who represent public relations firms, independent consultancies, corporations, government agencies, hospitals and health care institutions, professional associations and nonprofit organizations. PRSA Boston also proudly supports public relations education at area universities, extending our mentoring and professional development efforts to six campuses with chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America and others with PR-preparatory curricula and clubs.

For more than 60 years, PRSA Boston has served as the gold standard for public relations in Boston.

Volunteering

Looking to get involved? Inside PRSA Boston are a number of small working groups that allow you to create new connections, build your exposure or contribute new ideas — whatever motivates you! Chapter committees include: Membership, Sponsorship, Accreditation, Programs, Scholarship, Social Media Summit, the Young Professionals Network, the Independent Practitioners Network, Social Media and our upcoming Northeast District Conference. The time commitment varies by committee, and we are happy to accommodate your schedule. It’s widely believed that you get out of an organization what you put into it — and our members tell us that contributing through a committee is not only a great icebreaker, but also introduces them to terrific people and valuable resources they might otherwise overlook!
