An Introduction to Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Tuesday, April 26th!

April is APR Month, and PRSA Boston is inviting you to An introduction to Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) on Tuesday, April 26th at 7 p.m. During this virtual event, Josh Gitelson, APR, the chapter’s APR Chair, will review what you need to know about pursuing accreditation, answer questions and provide a personal perspective on the benefits of accreditation.

APR is the mark of distinction for PR practitioners who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and its ethical practice. It certifies your drive, professionalism, and principles while positioning you as a leader and mentor in the competitive public relations field.

Since 1964, this voluntary Accreditation certification program for the public relations profession has been available to members of PRSA, and related participating organizations with at least five years of paid, full-time experience in the practice or teaching of public relations. Earning your APR is a milestone career achievement for serious public relations practitioners looking to distinguish their expertise, knowledge, skills and abilities to employers, clients, colleagues—and themselves.
