Teak Media + Communication, New England’s sole certified B Corp public relations firm, is seeking a dynamic social media coordinator to join its team. The social media coordinator will be responsible for the design and implementation of digital programs across the agency’s nonprofit and socially responsible clients, as well as active participation in the marketing of Teak itself. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital trends, tools and best practices, including campaign analysis and reporting. Demonstrated experience creating and executing social media campaigns with a mind toward measurable impact in an agency or in-house capacity is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and execute digital marketing campaigns for Teak’s nonprofit and socially responsible clients
  • Analyze existing digital assets and assess what’s missing
  • Create and execute social media campaigns (paid and organic) for clients
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve campaign outcomes
  • Manage influencer programs and partnerships
  • Manage marketing of Teak, including website upkeep and email marketing and social media campaigns
  • Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
  • Report consistently on the impact of strategies and make recommendations for further improvements
  • Provide counsel on SEO recommendations and strategies
  • Support clients’ traditional public relations efforts as needed, including writing proactive pitches and other materials for the media, and pursuing and securing media

Qualifications include:

  • 1-2 years of relevant digital marketing experience
  • Deep organic and paid social media experience across channels
  • Proven digital marketing proficiency, including email marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in WordPress and Constant Contact; knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO strategy and Google AdWords
  • A strong understanding of analytics and measurement tools for various platforms
  • Commitment to continuous learning of platform intricacies and digital trends
  • Keep track of the news and digital trends with clients in mind
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and strategize for clients
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
