The Director of Global Communications, Brand and Content is responsible for the direction and execution of our global communications, brand, content, customer reference and influencer relations initiatives. This position leads our Communications function to deliver a material impact in support of our business plan. Managing a small team of communications, brand and content professionals complemented with external agencies and consultants, this leader will work with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure Stratus is well known and valued in our target markets.





  • Drive awareness and visibility in support of market growth priorities utilizing a combination of earned and social media and paid amplification
  • Define and implement differentiated value propositions and messaging in support
  • Secure and maintain thought leadership positions on relevant, key topics
  • Work on employee and executive communications projects as needed
  • Bring excellence and innovation to communication practices including persuasive written communications and storytelling
  • Ensure key metrics are regularly tracked and reported
    Prepare spokespeople in anticipation of media and speaking opportunities


  • Manage Stratus’ reputation to ensure an always favorable position in the market
  • Own and evolve brand standards and brand experience across all channels
  • Develop, with cross functional team, key measurements


  • Drive the content strategy, working with Programs and Field Marketing teams to align with global demand generation and partner enablement initiatives
  • Cultivate and produce clear and compelling content for range of channels
  • Maintain editorial oversight of corporate and global content programs

Influencer relations

  • Design and manage the influencer strategy in support
  • Manage and track key relationships with business, technology and vertical media, industry analysts and other influencers globally
  • Customer insights and references
  • Run customer insights and references program, working cross functionally to connect references with awareness, demand generation and brand efforts



This role leads and manages a team of five FTEs as well as a network of retained agencies and SME consultants.





  • Proven ability to design and execute communication, content and brand strategies to include measuring effectiveness
  • Experience implementing digital and social media strategies and programs
  • Well versed in messaging framework development and execution, and storytelling
  • Ability to leverage data to inform awareness investments and measure success
  • Passion for creating a compelling branded audience experience through well designed visual and written communications
  • Outstanding communications skills and strong ability to craft messages and campaigns that motivate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to indirectly influence and lead
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity and a strong personal desire to learn


10+ years developing and executing communications plans and strategies, creating and managing corporate brands, and leading a team in support
First-hand experience with executive and business communications, including support of C-level executives
Experience working with global and regional teams to define global communication strategies and support the needs of regions
Expertise guiding key stakeholders in the creation of unique value propositions and underlying messaging
Prior experience deploying communications and branding best practices, including the training of others
Demonstrated experience with measurement programs and comprehensive KPIs
Digital Transformation, IoT and/or Automation industry experience preferable

Bachelor’s degree preferably in communications, marketing or business
