DuPont is seeking a Director of Global Business Communications for its newly formed $3.6B Electronics & Imaging business in the new DuPont. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset with a fresh perspective for communicating business and organizational priorities. You’ll need a global outlook with a proven track record in building a differentiated presence for a new business and be equally passionate about taking a global workforce on an exciting journey in the dynamic, growing world of electronics and connectivity. As a member of the business leadership team, your responsibilities include oversight for all internal and external communications, executive communications, and a team of communications professionals around the world.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key responsibilities:
Leads development of all business-related external and internal communications strategies and programs for integrated marketing and employee communications strongly linked to business strategy
Leads and develops a multi-national team of geographically dispersed global business communications professionals comprising various levels of expertise and experience
Leads development and execution of executive communication program for business president for employee engagement and external thought leadership, including media activity
Serves as trusted advisor to senior business leadership by providing ongoing internal communications counsel and support
Develops proactive and reactive communications strategies to address issues that may affect the business’s reputation, including establishing communications protocol for crisis management
Strong partner to business CMO on business-wide marketing communications and strategic messaging, including development of investor relations business-focused communications
Ownership for clear and effective global business brand strategy appropriately tied to corporate master brand and corporate branding initiatives
Collaborates with corporate communications and DuPont’s global business communication leads to leverage and maximize functional excellence/professional development.
15+ years in B2B Communications roles, with minimum 5 years people leadership skills within a global team. Experience in technology sector and business in Asia is a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in roles with increasing levels of responsibility- breadth and depth
Leadership of people – both direct reports and indirect associates
Strong verbal, written and visual communications skills to craft and present powerful and engaging messages
Comprehensive understanding and command of how both traditional and non-traditional communications can elevate a business among key stakeholders (employees, customers, media, investors)

Experience working across a diverse and multi-cultural organization
