Paid Social for PR: Tools, Techniques + Impact

Paid Social for PR: Tools, Techniques + Impact

Online advertising has been as prevalent of the web experience as have websites, but can be highly ineffective and squander a budget as we become more sophisticated about avoiding them. Digital ads were a great idea, but flawed execution from poor graphics to ineffective targeting have made paid social media a far more preferable option.

Michael Durwin has been on the leading edge of paid social strategy and has racked up national awards along the way. He was a highly-rated speaker at the PRXNE16 conference, packing his too-small room with a ‘must’ presentation that had people talking and wanting more.

So this is the ‘more,’ presented for PRSA Boston’s Independent Practitioner Network (IPN) community with available seats for members and thereafter guests. RSVP and bring your laptop and your questions on Monday, November 28th for Michael’s introduction to seven social ad platforms, their distinctions and advantages and how best to use each. You’ll leave having learned about ad targeting, measurement, audience engagement, how to optimize your ad content to so incremental impact, budgeting and how to work with an expert consultant.

Traditional online ads record an average of .117 click-thru rate (CTR) and Facebook yields up to 10%, an 833% increase. These and other important insights are sure to deliver high value with actionable takeaways.

RSVP: Space is limited, reservations on a first come/first serve basis. Preference given to PRSA Boston’s IPN member community.
