PRSA Boston’s Independent Practitioners Network (IPN) is heading back to The Boston Globe Friday, April 13, at noon. Learn more about the evolution of The Boston Globe first hand from Larry Edelman, former Globe Business Editor, who was recently promoted to Deputy Managing Editor – news/features Larry Edelman (@GlobeBizEd), which makes him responsible not only for the Business section, but also for the Metro section.
Larry will join us for a lunch presentation and Q&A session and may bring along other business and/or Metro editors, reporters, or columnists. Larry will take us inside the Globe’s business and metro beats and share insights on how the paper is evolving. He will also arrange for us to take a tour of the Globe’s new offices and newsroom facilities in Downtown Boston. There is much to discuss and learn. Lunch will be provided.
Everyone who wants to attend must register as there is a 25-person limit. IPNers have priority. We have had a waiting list in the past.
Because the Globe has moved, parking is no longer free. FYI, the new address is The Boston Globe, 1 Exchange Place Suite 201, Boston, MA 02109-2132. Exchange Place is located at 53 State Street, at the corner of State and Congress Streets.
A Special Interest Section founded in Boston, the Independent Practitioners Network was formed as a collaborative of seasoned PR professionals operating as consultants or as small firms in and around eastern Massachusetts. We facilitate partnerships to win or service business; share best practices across our many specialization areas; provide each other with client service or practice management support; and foster community and collaborations among the independent PR people who belong to PRSA Boston. @PRSABoston #PRSABos
