This year we’re sharing this Boston Chapter tradition by extending a friendly invite to APR members from our neighboring Yankee and Southeastern New England PRSA chapters to don their green on St. Patrick’s Day morn! On the menu is not politics (phew!) but instead a discussion with PRSA’s CEO Joseph Truncale. This loyal Red Sox fan ensconced in NY joined PRSA National last year to drive an agenda of transformation. He’s looking for candor and ideas from PRSA’s most accomplished, informed and opinionated members and is happy to answer questions related to the updates to APR, and beyond. He’ll offer an exclusive preview of institutional changes he’s leading, starting with a complete overhaul of the National website being implemented by InternlinkOne of Wilmington, MA. They’ll be plenty of humor, storytelling and probably some sports bravado. As we all know with PRXNE16 and PRSA’s International Conference to follow in 2017, our market has a unique influence in conversations about the importance of public relations in C-suite to the grassroots community.
Rally your fellow APR friends and colleagues!
We’re heading back to the Newton Marriott Hotel in the Charles River Room for how well they take care of us. But mark your GPS for Auburndale! Come to get caught up about PRXNE16, the newly revamped APR exam, our new Faculty Forum, highlights from the 2016 Calendar including some great IPN programs, and discuss a range of headlines and self-interested topics. Book early, update your member profile (are you in the APR Member Group?) and dust off your APR pin! This is a morning of fun reunions! Send out the word @prsaboston #APRAppreciation #prxne! And you know what color to wear! Purchase your ticket today so your menu preference can be honored!
