C-Suite Conversation with GE’s CCO Deirdre Latour

C-Suite Conversation with GE's CCO Deirdre Latour

Reception – Awards – 2017 Officer Election + Year Ahead

Much has been written about GE’s relocation of its worldwide headquarters to the Seaport District. Now, for the first time, meet the top PR and corporate communications executive who is shaping GE’s (@generalelectric) corporate and philanthropic voice: CCO Deirdre Latour (@deirdrelatour). The agency veteran-turned corporate Chief Communications Officer will offer remarks followed by a Q&A. She is expected to speak about the use of adaptive communications by successful innovation brands. The selection of our venue — The NonProfit Center of Boston (@npc_life) — is a fitting backdrop for what she will share about GE’s community engagement and philanthropic plans.

PRSA’s C-Suite Conversation program series brings top corporate and agency leaders whose influence on their sectors and our industry are exemplary. This program will also include the presentation of the Diane Davis Beacon Award, our chapter’s top recognition of an outstanding and influential practitioner’s mark of excellence.

PRSA Boston President Loring Barnes, APR (@loringbarnes) will pass the leadership torch to 2017 President-Elect Dan Dent, APR (@dandent1) following the election of the 2017 Board of Officers. There will be a brief preview of the exciting year ahead to include the anticipated PRSA International Conference (ICON) which returns to Boston after 20 years.  This is an annual ‘must’ attend public relations community reunion for practitioners of all career stations, faculty, those affiliated with innovation sectors and community or nonprofit organizations interested in meeting our keynote speaker and touring our venue.

Easy Directions: The NonProfit Center of Boston is one block from South Station (Amtrak, Commuter Rail, Subway, Bus Depot). Parking ($$) is available at Two Financial Center, diagonally up the street. Visitors often park on street level lots by the Children’s Museum and walk or cab over.  The building houses 44 nonprofit organizations in addition to great function facilities.
