Accreditation Boot Camp

Accreditation Boot Camp

APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) is the mark of distinction for PR professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and its ethical practice. This professional certification recognizes those practitioners who have demonstrated competency in the knowledge, skills, strategies and abilities required to effectively practice public relations in today’s competitive arena.

PRSA Boston’s Accreditation Boot Camp will provide an overview of APR and the process for becoming accredited. PRSA Boston members who have recently earned APR will be available to answer questions and share personal perspectives on the benefits of accreditation.

Any member in good standing of PRSA or its partner organizations may take on the challenge of earning accreditation. It is recommended, however, that candidates have at least five years’ experience in the full-time practice or teaching of public relations, and have either a bachelor’s degree in a communications field or equivalent work experience.

If you are interested in attending PRSA Boston’s May 16 Accreditation Boot Camp, register HERE.

If you have any questions, please email PRSA Boston APR Chair Josh Gitelson at joshg1068@gmail.com.
